Luna's Memories is a family run business located in Half Moon Bay, CA. We have been in business since 2002. We started off as a small retail store, and have grown into a retail, mailorder, and e-commerce business. We owe our success to our loyal and creative customers.
Luna's Memories was created and developed by Craig and Maureen Barton. Craig has a background in computer programming and wood - turning. Maureen is a pediatric occupational therapist with a background in art. We both have a love of arts and crafts.
When our children were born we felt the need to document every new development. After 10 years of scrapbooking our memories and working in our respective fields, we were at a crossroads and chose to pursue our dreams of photography and scrapbooking. That is when the idea of Luna's Memories was born. Now both of our sons, Eric and Ian, work in the store and are budding artists in their own right.
Although we began with scrapbooking, we quickly expanded into multimedia art and cardmaking. We came to love altered art and have a thriving altered book club. Providing customers with high quality supplies for these mediums is a priority and demonstrates our commitment to the arts.

Our Team
Connie Andrews – “the best art teacher I have ever had” - Connie Andrews is a mixed media Artist and Instructor. She specializes in collage and assemblage and has been published in Somerset Studio.
Erika Shue – Erika is an invaluable designer, graphic artist, and front window dresser. She always makes herself available to help anyone in need with a design problem.
Maria Ontiveros - Maria specializes in rubber stamping techniques, paper art projects, book making, and other mixed media art. Her artwork has been published in Somerset Studio, Rubber Stamper Magazine and Memory Makers. Her art has twice been selected for juried art shows in San Francisco.
Katie Howell – card maker extraordinaire and our right hand woman! Katie runs the store whenever Craig or Maureen can’t be around. She keeps things running smoothly and is the sweetest person around!
Leslie McBride – Leslie is the newest member of our team. She teaches paper crafts and is the origami queen. Leslie is an artist and paints beautiful watercolors. It’s great to have her on board!
Sally Rarback – Sally is a stamp artist and is a huge part of our artistic inspiration and teaching staff! She has written articles on rubber stamping for books and has examples of her cards posted on stamp companies websites.
